just wanted to explain you the hunting test we did today.
In Germany we need this test for hunting dogs. With this test the dogs is "workable hunting dog" and he can take part at hunting and is insured (if something happens during a hunting)
The test includes
- 300m bloodtrack (at least 3 hours since the track was prepared)
- 300m rabbit track in the wood (the dog will work it alone and has to retrieve the rabbit)
- 150m duck track on the meadow
- heelwork in the wood
- steadiness during a drive
- searching on a meadow and shooting while the dog is searching
- one duck retrieve in the water, while the dog is swimming to the duck you have to shoot the duck again
- one blind duck, you have to send the dog about 20-30 meters across open water into a bunch of reed
she did great as I expected, she was a bit noisy while the drive, but I think we will manage that
